Auto Tint and Paint Protection

Texas can turn a parked vehicle into a punishment box.

Sal’s installs automotive window tint for drivers who want less heat, less glare, more UV protection, more privacy, and a cleaner finished look.

Vehicle tint is one of those upgrades you notice every time you drive.

The cabin feels less brutal after sitting in the sun. The glare is easier on your eyes. The interior gets more protection from UV exposure. The whole vehicle looks more finished.

Sal’s helps you choose tint that fits the vehicle, the look you want, and how you actually drive.

Less Sun Means a Better Drive

In a vehicle, heat and glare are not background problems.

They hit the seat, the steering wheel, the dashboard, your eyes, and everything inside the cabin that sits in the sun day after day.

Good tint helps take the edge off, protects the interior, and gives the vehicle a cleaner look without making visibility or film choice an afterthought.

Paint Protection Film

Paint protection film is a clear film that helps protect vulnerable painted surfaces from rock chips, scratches, bug damage, road debris, and everyday wear. It's a good fit for high-impact areas like hoods, bumpers, mirrors, door edges, and other places that take abuse before the rest of the vehicle does.

Road Debris Has a Way of Finding the Paint First

Some damage is small enough to ignore until you notice it every time you walk up to the car. A nick on the hood, a scuff near the door edge, or even peppering on the front bumper after enough highway miles.

Paint protection film is for the spots that take the first hit, so the vehicle keeps looking closer to the way it should.

A Quick Note on Texas Tint Laws

Texas has rules for how dark and reflective automotive tint can be, especially on the front side windows and windshield strip.

The windows immediately to the right and left of the driver must allow at least 25% light transmission when measured with the original glass, and windshield tint is limited to the area above the AS-1 line or the top five inches if there is no AS-1 line.

A clear (un-tinted) UV film is allowed anywhere on the front windshield without a medical exemption being required.
